Among the important internal storage devices which are also very useful computer hardware part it must be mentioned along with the hard disk the disk array type of controller. It represents a device dealing with the disk drives in order to make them be seen as logical types of units by the computer. It has been many times also named the Raid controller. This device is considered to provide two types of interfaces: the front-end type of interfaces and the back end type. The first type of interfaces, the front-end one is considered to communicate with a host adapter included within the system.
